
At the University of Kentucky Medical Center, community-based education is an important tradition and has been part of health professions education for many years. The numerous practitioners who provide students with positive clinical experiences are invaluable resources for the University’s education programs.
The number of students and the amount of time they spend on community-based site are significant. Due to the importance of these experiences for students, the Medical Center is committed to addressing the needs of community-based faculty.
